Specifics of Moving Blankets
Moving blankets are heavy duty blankets made from cotton/polyester blends, woven polyester or non-woven polyester that are utilized as a buffer for furniture and other forms of cargo when being transported via vehicle, most commonly a moving truck or the bed of a pick up truck. It is important to consider the weight, material and binding of any moving blanket that is being considered for purchase. The lower weighted blankets will suffice for one or two trips but for more intensive moving it is recommended that heavier weighted blankets, with additional padding and heavy duty stitching, be utilized as they will last longer.
